This program provides students with an aptitude for applied sciences and mathematics to develop their capabilities and skills and to apply them to a broad range of problems dealing with electro-technology. Graduates of the B.Sc. degree program offered by the Control Systems Engineering Department acquire excellent background in basic sciences, mathematics, electromagnetism, electrical and electronic circuits, measurement devices, electromechanical energy conversion, electrical power, computer and control systems, and applications of various technologies in the control systems engineering discipline.

Duration & Pattern of Course
The duration of the B.Sc. (Honors) degree program in Control Systems Engineering is five (5) years divided into ten (10) semesters.

Program Outcomes
The Control Systems Engineering Undergraduate Program is designed to provide students with the following skills:
- Knowledge of mathematics including calculus, differential equation, linear algebra necessary to analyze and design complex devices and systems containing hardware and software components as related to control systems engineering.
- An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics and science to the general field of control systems engineering.
- An ability to design and conduct experiments pertaining to control systems engineering, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
- An ability to identify, formulate and solve control systems engineering problems including, system design and performance evaluation.

- An understanding of professional control systems engineering duties and ethical responsibility.

Degree Requirements
To obtain the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Power Engineering, the student must successfully complete 192 credit hours, out of which 20 credit hours represent the University requirement (humanities and social sciences), 52 credit hours represent the College requirements and 120 credit hours represent the Department requirements. The Departmental requirements are split into 60 credit hours of compulsory core courses in basic engineering sciences, 54 credit hours in control systems engineering and 6 credit hour final year project.
the Admission requirements are the following:
The candidate should pass at least seven subjects The high school certificate, (Mathematics , English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and any other two subjects).
Candidates have to pass all Subjects that mentioned above, the pass Degree for subject is minimum ( D ) or over.
The candidate's Bsc certificate should be authenticated from the high education ministry.
your certificate should meets the requirements above and also should be authenticated from Higher Ministry of Education and Scientific Research.
